Ok, I really felt like I had to write something here after reading Daniel Miller's devastating comment.
First of all to say that there are no innocent people in Gaza is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!! If there is war somewhere (and there always has been too much of it!) then there are ALWAYS innocent people involved! How does it come that you think people or nations gather together to choose their leader...and they ALL choose him or her?? Did you vote for Bush AND Obama? Do you always follow what other people of your nation vote for? What even means choose? There are countries in that world where people don't even have the right to choose! Not only talking about women here but whole nations who live with dictators...Did they ALL choose to live that way? NO, for God's sake! There might be mass formations and big groups of people who form into a leading role for one country but that does not mean that there are no innocents. And if you really believe in the crazy idea of Germans choosing Nazis as their leaders I have to tell you ALL Jews who have lived in Germany in 1933 must have ALL voted for Hitler as well then- following your "theory" of nations "choosing their leader".
Also to mention 9/11 in the same argument you are setting up on the Mideast conflict seems kind of unnecessary to me. The conflict between Israel and Palestine is older than the history of 9/11 and a little explanation of people who might have danced in the streets in Gaza that day might be the following: for the first time those people saw a nation being hurt which provided their enemies with weapons they died from-and still die from every single day! I know that is not a reason to dance in the streets but it might "explain" their frustration of having the US providing Israel with weapons-giving them the opportunity to be the "strong oppressor" in that conflict.

NEWSFLASH: The UN building and school were harboring Hamas terrorists. If the UN says they weren't, well, just remember the Useless Nations said their were no illicit dealings with Saddam Hussein in the Oil-for-Food program. (eyeroll)

There are no innocent in Gaza. They danced in their streets on 9/11. Nations choose their leaders and, like the Germans chose the Nazis, The Palestinians of Gaza have chosen Hamas.

How the hell would you stop the rockets? If this anti-missile system worked, why would Israel kill "innocent" Palestinians, excepting your anti-Semitic view of them?
